Ruger 10/22® rifles are ideally suited for informal target shooting, plinking, small game hunting, and action-shooting events. Many models exist, including the standard 10/22 Carbine, the Ruger Deluxe Sporter, the Ruger All-Weather® 10/22, Rifle models, a Compact model, and a Target model.

The benefits of the Ruger 10/22 are many, and vary by model. The standard 10/22 Carbine, virtually unchanged since introduced in 1964, is the most popular .22 rifle of the last 40 years; the Ruger Deluxe Sporter features a cut-checkered walnut stock with a flat buttplate; the Ruger All-Weather 10/22 features a stainless barrel and a durable synthetic stock.

Rifle models feature a flatbutt plate and longer barrel; and Compact models feature a correctly proportioned but shorter stock and barrel. Also available is a Ruger Target Model 10/22, featuring a heavy hammer-forged target crowned barrel, laminated stock, and target trigger. All models include free combination tip-off and Weaver-type scope base adapters for easy scope mounting right out of the box.

All UK market models are factory screw cut with the standard 1/2" UNF (1/2"×20tpi). This is denoted by the addition of spl to the model order code.

It's been quite a ride...and a great one. Straight to the top.

From our humble beginnings in 1974 as a gun bluing shop in the basement of a rented house to our current position as one of the premier manufacturers of state-of-the-art, precision firearms and custom parts, Volquartsen Custom has come a long way.

First, we pioneered the 10/22 revolution by creating the finest custom 10/22s, custom 10/22 parts and Mark II pistols on the market. Our custom parts and accessories are still in high demand and are still considered among the very best available.

Next, we created our own line of exquisitely crafted custom rimfire rifles and handguns in .22 LR and .22 WMR, and, most recently, the hot new .17 HMR and .17 HM2. We were pioneers in that new frontier, too. All of our precision rimfires look great, shoot straight, and perform like no rimfires you've ever seen.

Then, it was on to our high tech Fusion takedown rifle that changed calibers from .22 WMR to .17 HMR and a recently introduced .22 LR to .17 Mach 2 by simply changing the barrels. The high tech Fusion is one of the most unique and innovative rifles on the market, bar none.

Now, it's on to bigger things, like our brand new Evolution .223, our very first semi-auto, tack driving centerfire, and a worthy addition to our line of world class custom firearms. Like all Volquartsen Custom firearms, we designed and manufacture the Evolution right by using our own CNC-machined stainless steel receivers and custom-rifled barrels (machined using ultra-precise digital technology) as well as our own exclusive precision parts.

And, even though our growth has been nothing short of phenomenal, we remain a family owned and operated business. As a result, customer satisfaction is still our number one goal. We keep our delivery times as short as possible but we will not sacrifice quality to meet a deadline.

Although we haven't reached our ultimate destination yet, Volquartsen Custom is well on the way. And every day we take one more step.
